Kommunhälsan is Eskilstuna municipality's internal occupational health service available to the municipality's managers and employees. We work to prevent and eliminate health risks in workplaces and have the competence to identify and describe the connections between work environment, organization, productivity, and health. We are also guided by the ethical guidelines and regulations that govern each profession. Our assignments primarily come from individual managers, which are specified in an assignment dialogue, and we always provide feedback on completed efforts and results. We are a work team of 12 people with different competencies in health, work environment, behavioral science, and medicine.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The foundation of our efforts is the conditions in the organization and the social work environment. Within occupational health, it is important to balance the individual perspective as well as the manager and group perspective in the given organization. You support managers in issues related to work environment and health and conduct training and workshops for groups on behalf of the manager. Your focus is on groups and group development within your area, supporting groups during change and investigating the psychosocial work environment. Support conversations with employees occur. For example, you do not have any therapeutic conversations as we are an occupational health service. However, we support and help employees return to work after sick leave and provide support to managers in their role. The assignments with us vary in nature, and you have several assignments ongoing simultaneously. In some, you work independently, while in others you collaborate with one or more colleagues for broader expertise. Assessments of work ability also occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are an educated social worker or behavioral scientist, preferably with a focus on work life and organizational psychology. If you have completed Step 1 training in CBT (basic psychotherapy training with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), that is an advantage. You have experience working with workgroups and conducting training. Perhaps you already have experience working as an organizational consultant within an occupational health service with work-life-oriented rehabilitation and assessments of work ability. The variation in assignments is something you find exciting. You adapt easily to different situations and target groups. You know that change is a process that may take time. As a person, you are secure in yourself, communicative, and see the key to success through collaboration. We want you to have a B driver's license.
